I have received a bit of feed back for the external review and welcome more.
For those of you who are not aware, the SCA is going through an external review this semester. What that means is a panel of art education professionals will be having a look at our programing and making recommendations in areas we could improve on or are excelling in. The primary recommendation from the last review was new facilities; *BLAMO*. That is to say this review could, but is not guaranteed to, have a huge impact on the future of the school, and subsequently our lives.
The student body is allotted an hour of direct feedback free of any faculty presence in the afternoon on March 8. In the interest of making efficient use of this hour we are putting together a student response and a committee to represent the TSU.
Anyone interested in participating in this committee please contact me via email or in person.
Anyone interested in adding to the pool of feedback please email me with a response that includes; positive reflection on your experience as a student at SFU SCA, constructive criticism of you experience at SFU SCA, and a short (250 words) anecdote from your time here.
This is not a bitch and gripe session, but an honest cross section of the programing here, so please feel free to express all sides of your experience.

Due to a fair number of people interested in purchasing TSU merchandise at this point in time, we will be doing a secondary order. There are no changes to the design or types of clothing offered; as with the first time.
Please see below for the merch order form; print it out and send it to Robyn [email@example.com] by Friday, March 2nd. Alternatively, you can give it to me in person: the most optimal time would be at the next TSU meeting [Monday, Feb. 27th].
After this, we will let everyone know of the final price and we will collect money, send it off, wait patiently, and eventually distribute merch accordingly.
Please contact Robyn if you have any questions.

Notice to SFU Community from Jon Driver, Vice-President, Academic
The next Academic Plan 2013 – 2016 is currently being developed and I’d like your input. The Deans and I have crafted a draft Academic Plan which aligns with the new SFU Vision/Mission and, once finalized, will guide the Faculty and Department planning process scheduled to begin later this year.
5 Town Hall meetings have been set for specific audiences where I will present my draft plan for 2013-2016. I encourage you to take part in these discussions around the academic priorities that will guide our activities until 2016.
At the conclusion of the Town Hall meetings, the draft document will be revised to reflect discussions, posted on the Vice-President Academic website, and the next stage of planning will commence in the Faculties and Department/Schools.
