About Movement Psychology:
This technique of Character Transformation was created by the renowned Yat Malmgren, co-founder of Drama Centre London and further developed by Tom Bentley-Fisher.
Create a unique character and discover all the notes available to you through the principle of Weight (light or strong), Space (flexible or direct), Time (quick or sustained) and Flow (free or bound).
About Lavinia Hollands:
Lavinia has just completed an MA at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Actor training and Coaching (2015). She has taught acting at Rose Bruford, the University of East London and most recently, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (Central Connects). She specializes in teaching the Laban Malmgren Technique of Movement Psychology. She currently teaches at Drama Centre London and also runs private workshops.

The Invasive Species Project is a new, site oriented creation project directed by Theatre Replacement’s Maiko Yamamoto, to be made in collaboration with theatre performance, production & design students at SFU’s School for the Contemporary Arts. November 5 & 6, DEVELOPMENT PRESENTATION at 7 & 9pm

・1 contemporary monologue, 3 minutes max.
・1 physical piece*, 1 minute max.
*This should be a piece that showcases your movement choices and capabilities that is not mime of dance.
Feel free to think abstractly.
・A sample of writing*.
*This should be a piece of creative writing, to a max of one page.
・This will be a group audition.
・The first portion is working as an ensemble, with the second portion focusing on the individual.
