WHAT ARE THE DIRECTING PROJECTS?
The Directing Projects are a collection of shows directed by student directors.
Directors will pitch a show using a published one act play.
The audition is publicly opened and the actors who get cast will perform in the show.

Generally the rehearsals will take place at SFU Woodward's campus,
weekdays 6pm-10pm and weekends 10am-6pm with Friday being the dark day (off day).
WHO CAN AUDITION?
Anyone can audition including public applicants and SFU students!
We are looking for various roles including all genders, all ethnicity, and all ages.
We welcome theatre students from other schools to audition as well.
We look forward seeing you at the audition!
For the audition, prepare one of the followings;
a minute long monologue, a song, a short piece of any kind without text,
or prepare by not preparing anything!
It is not required to prepare at all but encouraged, you will be reading sides provided by the directors from the plays.
We will be posting all the sides here and bulletin board in the theatre lounge.
Also, if you are particularly interested in any of the plays, we can send you the entire script upon your request.
When you arrive on the audition day, you will be asked to sign in and receive a number as well as a questionnaire. Please fill out the questionnaire and bring with you to the audition room.
In the each time slots, we will audition each person one by one in the order of the sign in.
In case you are running late by unexpected events, let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition slot to assure we can sign you in properly.
Meet in the Theatre Student Lounge on the fourth floor at SFU Woodward's campus.
The address is 149 West Hastings, Vancouver BC, V6B 5K3.
Please note that these are compensation-free theatre productions.
